Hopefully this never ending story has come to it's end.

Sears Hardware had the proper size O ring, and while I was there I bought the other 3 so they are all brand new. I also sanded the piston rod with 1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Assembled everything with petroleum jelly and ran it for 15 mins or so and not a drop leaked.

Hopefully I've added the last quart of trans fluid for a long time. I sure don't have any worries about the fluid being clean, bet I've ran 3 - 4 quarts through the system in the past month or two.

The real test will be tomorrow when I use it to haul big oak rounds to the splitter. I'd really love to just enjoy my old equipment and not have to fix something for a few weeks. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364778655.142243.jpg

Her bucket is held high with pride. And to see if it drifts down over night.
