Guys, there is a VERY nice looking front mounted dethatcher up for sale on eBay. It looks nicer than the one I got last fall.

Antwerp, OH is only @ 3hrs from me, so if someone wants me to pick it up and hold it for them I would be glad to do so.

Edited to fix link to eBay ad.

Hmmm.... Well, what do you know? It just so happens that I have one of those now! :smilewink: Unless you'd rather have it for one of your actually functioning EK's, Brian?

I'd jump on it for $150, the only problem is I have literally NO money on me right now after blowing it all on Christmas gifts... :(

Just to clarify:

The ad incorrectly calls the attachment a # 19301, which is actually a reel mower attachment.

Bolens # 19310 is the Hitch to mount the # 16460 (42") Thatcher to the Estate Keeper.

Bolens # 18410 is the Hitch to mount the # 16460 (42") Thatcher to the Tube-frame tractors.

The # 16460 Thatcher was made by E-Z Rake but painted green for Bolens.

If you definitely want it let me know and I wont bid.
I really have no use for it except just as a collectors piece so if you can use it for your landscaping business....

Like I said, if I had the money... IDK if anyone else is bidding on it right now or not. IF it doesn't sell, then maybe I can have another shot at it after Christmas or something, but I can't afford to get it right now even if I wanted it. I do already have a tow-behind dethatcher that I have yet to use (maybe this upcoming spring?), but it's no front-mount powered dethatcher...

Bolens # 19310 is the Hitch to mount the # 16460 (42") Thatcher to the Estate Keeper.

Bolens # 18410 is the Hitch to mount the # 16460 (42") Thatcher to the Tube-frame tractors.

Hmmm.... so does this mean that you could buy a different hitch for this dethatcher and use it on either a tube frame or an Estate Keeper? How hard are the different hitches to find though? Still, this is good to know that it is interchangeable...

Mine fit into the trunk of a 2012 Nissan Maxima, but just barely. We did have to fold down the rear seats a bit, and the hitch was off of it.

Here's pics.
