Seems right to me. The guy might just have been looking for THAT model for quite some time and doesn't want it to get away.

CASH is KING!! If he is giving your asking price then he must just want it bad. As long as you set a price you are comfortable with then it is a great deal.

I think its worth it and nice job on the resto too. Cash only on that deal, maybe somethins not right on his end or maybe he just sees them go for alot more where he is.....

That's a pretty nice straight tractor and a good job on the restore. My guess is he's been looking on ebay where all of these tractors are suddenly made of gold and it made your asking price look quite attractive. Now your tractor doesn't have any of the items that make these things more valuable (hydraulics, three point, foot brakes, etc.) but it does present well. I think you both did well in this case. You got your asking price and he got a deal in his eyes. If he offers you a check for more and tells you to cash it and send the difference back, run away. However he pays you, set up a time for him to pick it up about a week to 10 days after you get the funds just to ensure everything is on the up and up.

Sorry to hear that man. It's a shame people have to do things like that. Life is tough enough as it is, why make it harder?
