Hi everybody I'm new here, mybigwarwagon said I should join so you all can heckle me about my tractors :D.
Here's my favorite one it's a 1968 (I think) cub cadet 124. It's rough and dirty and smokes like a coal train but it just wont quit (knock on wood)

Welcome to the forum, Jacob! Good to see a tractor in it's work clothes. I have a '71 108 that just keeps on ticking.

:welcometogttalk: Glad to have you here. Good looking 124(other than the seat.LOL) I know how that goes, most of my tractors have ripped seats; if they have seats. Still a good looking tractor.
What other GT's do you have?

Welcome to GTTalk. Guys, lets all chip in and buy him a seat cover! Nice cub. The old ones are built strong and that one looks like it's got lots of life left in it yet.

Welcome to the site Jacob! Glad to have you here! I also have a 124, I was told they where made in 1967.

Just looked up the THREAD, they where made from 1967-1969. Disregard what I said above. :D

It's rough and dirty and smokes like a coal train but it just wont quit. Are we still talking about the Cub? Welcome!

jacobd welcome to GTT. 124 are like little tanks. I have 2 124's and a 125 and have pushed them past ordinary limits and they still keep ticking. Not sure what it takes to kill one of them because I sure haven't found a way. The engines seem to give out before the tractor does. Glad to have you here. Kelly

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I also have a cub 127, jd 110, cub 682 with blown engine and a bolens 1050 and several bolens parts tractors that I'm trying to get rid of actually.
Out of all these I think I have one seat that isn't torn up, and it's off a craftsman lol.
