He doesn't seem like he wants to budge from the emails. His nephew he says is driving over from NY to pick it up and try to sell it over there for him when I am willing to buy it now. I don't understand this guy, I said I wanted it, and he wants to ship it to NY in an attempt to make more money because his nephew said this was a "very rare model"

But yet the guy tells the little old lady He wanted it because he never owned a lawn tractor ( even though this has no deck)

Sounds like a greedy guy to me.

Dunno, but I have 0 time for drama. If he wants to sell this to me, I offered $400 cash, which I feel is much higher than I would normally pay for one. If I get it, I'll let you all know.

That's great! You'll be the only one at GTT with a V3-6!

Shifts smoothly. The choke cable will need some tweeking, as it's broken, everything else is in good shape with it.

Wow Peter, That is a great looking machine. Glad you could hammer out a deal with that guy, I was worried it would end up in the scrap yard. Way To Go !!

Peter, the only thing I see missing is the tail light lens! Very complete machine! So she's a runner/driver?

Thanks! I noticed it's got a 5 lug pattern on the rear tires and larger than normal tires on the front. I've never personally seen an HD model, but those tires in the front look similar. The plow sure has seen better days, but it's a plow, it's meant to be used and it will be hopefully this season!

Yep the tail light lens is missing, but I have two spares that I can throw on when I get to it.

I haven't even tried to be honest, it's 30* out right now, and I want to tinker with her, but I will need to make some room in the garage, the D4-12 is going outside since it's been giving me so much trouble shifting, this looks like it will take it's place for my plowing tractor if I can get her running.

I may go see if she fires over for the heck of it.

My 7 is ready to go with the snow thrower, and the other 10 I may put outside for the winter just so I have some extra room.

Those fronts are std size 8" rims. The HD uses 12" front rims. Same bolt pattern on the back as most all GT's with 5 lugs. Neat that it still has the dealer's sticker on it! That PTO shideld appears to be a NOS item recently added.
