SO i been doing some thinking for the last 2 weeks an i have a building that would be great for the FIRST BOLENS MUSEUM!!!!!! what do you guys think? i have a old block hay bar that was 2 story but the roof rotted so i tour the roof off. i believe the building is 50ft long and 30ft wide. has a cement floor but I'm going to pour a new floor over it.... and we are are putting a regular roof on it.... I'm hoping to have it set up for early summer.... I'm going to have surveillance cameras everywhere and a good security system. i have a good size collection but i would love for some members to put there tractors and rare attachments in the museum. i will of course have a insurance policy and the whole works. and also have some shows out here but with all garden tractors i mean will all brands of GT'S so we have a bigger turn out. we can have a plow day an garden tractor pulls and demonstrations with the tractors and attachments... I think it would be awsume but PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINKS I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR OPINION. I THINK WE COULD MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF THIS LIKE BEING IN LAWN AND GARDEN COLLECTOR MAGAZINE. i think this could be an awsume thing that could get really big. thanks for reading and would love your input. thanks, Sam

I think that sounds like a fantastic idea!! Love that you will incorporate all GT's and that it will have other things to go along with it. I would deff come to see everything!!

Would you be looking for "Museum" quality restorations, of would tractors in "Working clothes" be OK as well?

If a "working clothes" tractor would be OK, I could let you display one of my G11s, and possibly with a Haban Sickle-Mo attached to it.

Only problem is that it would be a 900+ mile round trip to get it there unless some sort of 'relay' could be setup.

Well I've got to get hold of a lawyer about the legal issues if there is opening a mesum. I hope to get some sponsors and start a club ya know, but with the economy in the toilet who knows.
