My 314 pto pulley spins freely for 2 or 3 minutes after the engune is shut off. Is this normal? It doesn't seem to bother anything. Of course fhe belt isn't on it.

As a side note I purchased a new starter from dbelectric Monday morning with delivery expected around the 7th I recieved it yesterday morning the 5th. Normal free shipping. FAST.

It will do that and sometimes. Mine would even scrape sometimes as it slowed to a stop. Have you checked the clutch adjustment. I found that when I set the gap properly mine did not spin.

How do you check and set the clutch adjustment?
I wish I had a service manual.
