Today in Des Moines we are matching a Record set in 1889, marking 277 days without snow.
They are predicting a little snow for Sunday, but ground temps are such that it won't last long.

We had 0 snow in November and nothing yet other than a few flurries. It will come soon enough. I still have the loader on the 2320 but I normally switch to the front blade in November.

Broke a record here also for no snow, North Central Indiana.
Last time we had snow was March 5, 2012.
Old record was set on Dec.2,1948....272 days
New record as of today is 276 days and counting.
They are calling for possible snow here next week.
Last month (Nov.) also broke a record. .23 in. of precipitation all month. Lowest ever recorded for this area.
I hope this isn't an indicator of next years growing season. Last years drought sucked !!!!
Believe me, I am not really complaining although I would like to "Play" in the snow with the "Tractors" a couple of times this season. :D

I live about 20 miles north of Dubuque .. Hardly any snow last winter and dry all summer. I only mowed the grass 3 times instead of once a week as usual. No rain or snow yet this fall It would suit me fine to have another mild winter although it would be ok to have some snow for Christmas.

I am kind of hoping that it waits another month for a measurable snow here. I just don't enjoy it as much as I did when I was younger.
