I have a Wheelhorse 314-8 and the carb seems to be dripping gas from the air cleaner. First guess, before actually disassembling the carb, is the float valve is stuck open. I have rebuilt carbs before, just not one from a Kohler. Before I tear into the carb, are there any pitfalls or oddball features to be aware of?

Thanks,
gf

No, no real tricks to those carbs...pretty straight forward. I think one of the easiest carbs to deal with actually.

I'd agree that these carbs are among the easiest to work on compared to a tecunseh carb. Good luck on your rebuild, it should be a straight forward project.

I also agree. Real easy compared to other makes.

Good luck!
