Dawn is great stuff. I wash cars in it before I wax them. Takes everything off the paint.

My underwear is scotchguarded.

I think that is more than I wanted to know!

To wash your hair or work on the truck?

I have two solutions, get a trackhoe and shave your head.

How do you shave your head with a trackhoe?     :tapping_fingers:

You just need one of those finger things to pluck the last few hairs that are up there. You know when you go to get A hair cut. Well......I'm almost there!!

Today I actually ventured outdoors.

I got a slow start because I got back to staying awake all night. Then it was time for...

coffeeattack.jpg

Once I was caffeinated I headed out and crawled under the BlueOx and got to work. First thing was to get the motor mounts unhooked so I could lift the engine up.

With that done I finished unbolting the oil pan and found some good news. The crankshaft seals are not bad. The oil pan gasket was leaking everywhere. So I now have about $30 in parts to take back.

It took me a bit of time to get everything cleaned up and get the gasket stuck back on with a little RTV on each end. Since there isn't really enough room to get my hands in there with the pan on I stuck the gasket up with a couple of bolts until the sealant sets then called it a day. I was hurting a good bit anyhow.

Steph cleaned up the tools while I got in Christine to go back to the neighbors and find out what he was doing. I had been hearing a tractor all day and it wasn't his old Massey I was hearing.

Turns out that he got a newer IH tractor with a front end loader on it. I don't remember the model but he said it was a 60 something HP. Nice sized tractor. Maybe I can steal it from him one day and get some cleaning done.

Tomorrow I will start putting the Ox back together.ri

Right now I am watching the live feed of the space launch for tonight.

That rocket looks a lot like a model rocket kit that Estes sold when I was a kid, and they still sell it....the "Loadstar".
