Don't worry Willie, I'm sure all of these guys did proper service to these machines the instant they got back home with them!  :wallbanging:  :(

That looks like a lot of fun.Always will remember going to Sugar Creek in the winter time and walking from one bridge to the other on ice,but this would be a lot more fun

Busy day.

With the rainclouds gone I carried my thermos of joe out to the yard and got started on the great tractor dis-assembly.

After many hours of wrenching I wound up with this.

After looking at the Cub and finding that it was almost rusted in half from the debris built up under the dash while sitting out in the elements. When I had it up looking under it I found another problem – a crack in the transmission – which I discovered because it poured gear oil all over the yard. Oddly enough though the puddle burst into flame shortly after I moved the tractor. It was quite impressive.

There were two more that I took apart that I didn't have room on the trailer for due to the height of my gantry crane and the fact I didn't feel like lifting them.

Now I have a pile of engines and transmissions to take apart.

I got to meet a GTT member who has been reading my posts and wanted to know if I had a trans for his friends tractor. And I promptly forgot his name – sorry. Maybe he will post here and tell you what a great guy I am – and what a mess I have in my yard.

Hey Willie, one of those tractors looks to still have sealed beam bulbs in it....they may still be good!

Aw you already forgot my name? Ouch my feelings. Haha jk willie no worries I'm sure I'd do the same thing after striping a pile of mowers that big.

Willie really is a great guy he offered to sell me a craftsman trans for just $4000 :D still better then ebay. And yes it's close but I think his yard has got me beat for junk concentration. Mine's not worth as much money though.

Hey be honest now I said $3000. That is a bargain for sure. I let you take in the aura of my tractor pile for free.
