His stuttering only happens a day or two after having Little Casears, I think it's the sauce.

Relaxing day.

13788623d2aef864566361670820f2d9--surpri

Last night about 15 minutes after Pam and Buddy left with the Passport, Pam sent me a text that the Check engine light had come back on. Errrrr. She said it only came on when she was moving. When she touched the brake it went off.

I told her to go on home and see what it did this morning.

At 9 I got a text from Buddy that the light was still on. I told him to go by Autozone and get them to scan it and see what it was. Two hours later he got back to me. They said it was an internal error. I had no idea what that meant. I kept trying to get  him to tell me if it had a code associated with it.

An hour later he got back with me and said the light was off. I told him to go get it inspected immediately. He did. It passed. I still don't know what an internal error means.

I spent the rest of the day resting. I took a long hot bath to relax my back muscles.

Tomorrow we are going to Greenville to see a B-24, B-25, and a P-51. We were supposed to go to see them in Statesville, but I was under the Honda all day.

Just curious, Did you disconnect the battery after you repaired the wire harness? The computer may need re-set.

In Missouri,  we still have inspections.

They are "government at its finest!!"

The inspectors are required to have the vehicle inside their shop for 20+ minutes.

My guy tells me to pull it inside and wait in the waiting room of his shop as he's working on another customers vehicle.

After 15 minutes he walks over and fills out the paperwork which requires vehicle mileage.  When he pokes his head in to look at the odometer, he hits the brake pedal and looks at the big mirror on the wall behind and slaps the new sticker on the windshield.

I give him $12 and away I go.

We have nothing in IN. Just pay your excise tax, wheel tax, road tax, lake enhancement fees, whatever tax, you get the picture tax. They'll give you tags for anything. Just pay your tax!!!

Oh and I couldn't imagine dealing with the trailer tag nightmares I hear about in other states like Pennsylvania. We have to plate ours and set a weight. Unless your a semi trailer with 3000 lbs. tag, they'll leave you alone.

Here in Ohio we don't have to get any inspection unless you live in one of the big metropolis demecrapvilles.

It's such a double edged sword. I keep my vehicles in good condition. Even my old beater truck is perfectly mechanically sound. Just put new tires on it because the old tires awhile not worn out were 5 years old and had some small cracks in them.

However I see cars daily that should not be on the road.
