You guys must've had a conversation with him about keeping his clothes on :D
Glad they are having a nice time, I hear you on the steel toes, save my tootsies all the time.

A coworkers just the other day dropped a 900lb bearing on his foot, steel toe boots saved his toes. Last year another buddy got home seen his wife was haveing a Tough time mowing so instead of changing clothes he just went ahead and took over morning took a few steps fell over backwards pulled the lawn mower on top of both feet and steel toes save the feet

My truck came home last night.

Steph and Heath came with it.

Diesel was loose this morning. When Steph put him in the pen he snapped at her. His days are numbered. He also killed 2 rabbits.

After that I didn't do much else.

Steph is spent the day unpacking. Her family packed her stuff while she slept yesterday morning. Evidently everything that no one else wanted was stuffed in CherryBerry. Lots of it will be on CL soon.

Yeah he is going for a long walk tomorrow morning. He won't snap at me. He made that mistake once when he was about a year old.

Not a fun thing to do, but needs done.  Gotta protect Heath from what is almost inevitable.

Some peoples children.

I was awakened this morning by Grahams Steph daughter, Claire, calling me. Diesel would not let her in the yard. Which is good.

i_am_not_childish_coffee_mug-r94b0622541

Claire's car is in my yard as you know. And it was taking a bit longer to get it back together due to physical problems and weather. Well she mouthed off to her mom and to Graham and got kicked out. ( She is 21). She told them she had someone coming to work on the car today. I told her to call me before she came over. She didn't, so Diesel did a good thing not letting her in. Although, him getting out of the pen was a bad thing.

I made Claire and her "mechanics" sign a waver they if they got hurt it was their problem before I let them touch the car.

After a couple of hours they left. They were gone for a long time. I called asking of they were coming back today. She smarted off and told me if we had not lost the bolts they wouldn't have had to leave. All the bolts are in a coffee can. Anything missing is because they are too dumb to put it back together. I told her if she didn't watch her attitude I would have the police tow it off. She didn't say anything else.

While they were gone I took Diesel for his long walk. Oddly enough, he behaved like a perfect gentleman the whole time. He even sat for me. As sad as it is to have had to do it, Heath will be safer.

The car is finally done and Claire is gone. It is a shame she doesn't have any more respect for people. When she left she was riding the clutch all the way up the road, you could smell it.

The story of my day.

bank5.jpg

Steph had a teaching certification class today so she left at 830.

I had an appointment today, but I couldn't find where I wrote it down and it didn't save in my computer for some reason.

So I hunted up my docs phone number and called. Appointment was a 1230. Had to be there at 12 for paperwork.

I got in the shower for a much needed scrubbing.

Then I looked up the address for the Neurosurgeon and saw something about b ringing the MRI disc with me. SO I called them and asked if they had it. They didn't.

So I called the Lincolnton hospital. They told me what I needed to do. So Heath and I loaded up an headed out.

We got to the Hospital in Lincolnton at 1130, got the disc, and headed off again.

At 1228 I pulled into the Gastonia Hopspital.

And we waited.

My girls started texting me. They were coming here today.

Then Graham texted, he needs help putting a water heater in tomorrow.

Then Jenni texted, She got insurance stuff straightened out and got a new coffee pot.

Then Steph started texting.

at 130 I still had not seen the doc, but I was wearing out my phone.

Heath was playing with cars in the window.

Finally, at 2 the doc came in.

Note the bulge down towards the bottom of the spine.

This is my disc

back2.jpg

This is a healthy non herniated disc

back3.jpg

She said, "So you are in pain, aren't you?"

Well duuuh.

For some reason my (soon to be ex) doc did not order the MRI for my upper back. He doesn't listen real well.

So surgery is being scheduled and Heath and I escaped to Steak and shake.

IMG_20160705_142844351.jpg

Where I got more phone calls and texts.

I got one from Steph. She went by to get the trailer Garland borrowed, he didn't tell me he was taking it to West Virginia. Dangit.

I was supposed to go to Stetesville to get a JD GT242.

I called around to find a trailer that didn't outweigh CB. No one had one.

When I called Tim he had a question about the fuel regulator on a 2000 Blazer with a 4.3. I didn't know the answer, but told him II could find it in one phone call.

I lied, it took two.

I called my brother and he didn't have the answer,. but gave me the number to a guy who did. So I called him. He answered my question in 5 seconds.

I called Tim back.

While I was talking a phone call kept beeping in. So I tried to call back. I got no answer, but it called back again.

It was my ex wife. She said that if Emily didn't call her back she was going to disconnect her phone. I asked if that would not make it extremely difficult for her to call back. I got no answer.

There was a flurry of more texts to answer the I got some peace. I was about to throw my phone in the fry machine.

I ordered milk shakes and we headed for home.

IMG_20160705_150731037.jpg

I got a call from Emily. She was headed to my house with Allison.

When I got home I looked for Steph to give her the milkshake I bought for her. I couldn't find her.

I found our bathroom door closed. She was giving Carmel a bath.

Since Diesel had to be put down yesterday we didn't want to leave her out there alone.

Now Gunner is running all over the house trying to hump her. She is growling and biting at him. It will take a couple of days for things to calm down.

Carmel has spay incontinence and her smell drives males wild. We are trying a couple of things to help it. Right now she is wearing a bright purple diaper.

Unlike most women she refuses to pose for a pic.

IMG_20160705_163308753.jpg

Heath is having a ball. He yells Carmel chase me and then runs off. She chases him across the house and back.

I am tired.

This morning I was awakened by Graham. He told me to tell him when I was awake so I could work on his water heater. I thought about killing him.

urn.jpg

He wanted me to go to Lowe's with him to get the new one. I can't drive Christine, I wasn't about to ride in his buckboard rental car, and Garland had not brought my trailer back. I told he he could drive Christine up there.

About 20 minutes later he called back and said he had a problem with the title on his wrecked car and couldn't get the insurance company to pay off on it till some probate stuff from his dad was settled. His dad died 3 years ago.

So he gave Steph his bank card and she went to Lowe's.

When she pulled out Garland pulled in with my trailer. We talked a bit, he gave me a watermelon. He went home.

I came back in and got my second cup of coffee.

Then the road crews arrived to repave our road. They went up and down all day long.

Steph got home and dropped the water heater off at Grahams and then came home. I got dressed and headed over to his house.

We finally got the old tank to drain and then got it out. It dribbled some in the living room, but not too badly.

The new tank was made a bit differently so we had to run down to Ace to get a couple of pieces of pipe and elbows.

In no time it was installed.

Then I came home and sat in the floor till I stopped sweating. Once I was dry I got a fresh shirt and we loaded up in Christine, hooked her up to the trailer, and left.

We stopped for gas, stopped at Grady's house to leave him something, then headed up to Statesville.

We met the guy who had the JD 242. He told me the engine was rattling when he tried to start it. It sounded perfect to me. I paid him and we left with it.

We were all ravenous so we stopped at Cracker Barrel. I have never seen Allison clean her plate of anything. She did tonight.

We headed home.

Carmel and Gunner did not kill each other, or destroy the house.

The new cat we got today is still alive, although it was hiding in the bathroom.

Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight. Last night was 30 minutes on and off.
