Who would you want to cast as "Uncle Willie"?

The problem is they are having problems finding an actor that would properly represent my virility, masculinity, and sex appeal. They are currently attempting to gene splice Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Selleck,  Sam Eliot, Patrick Swaze, Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Sasquatch, and Brad Pitt. Things are not progressing too well in that department.

Here is a rundown of a typical day.  We will start with bedtime and go from there.

In bed at around 11. Asleep at 3 or so.

Steph leaves at 7 and always wakes me up trying to be quiet. At about 930 I am up.

Gunner go es out on his chain.

I clean up the pee pad and where LilBit peed and the floor where she missed when she pooped.

Heath is released from his prison. Sometimes he is awake sometimes not.

A waffle is tossed in the microwave.

Coffee is started.

Waffle is retrieved from Microwave, cut into bite sized pieces, sparingly covered in syrup and presented to Heath along with a glass of juice.

At this point Speed Raced is usually started on the TV in the living room.

A load of laundry is gathered up. Laundry in dryer is dumped on the bed for Steph to fold when she gets home as it kills my shoulder. Laundry in washer is put in dryer ( and sometimes I even remember to start the dryer) Dirty laundry is put in the washer.

Coffee is finally ready and poured in to thermos.

super_dad_mug.jpg

I retrieve a glass of milk and head to the office.

While the ancient computer is started up I take my meds and drink my milk.

About this time Gunner wants to come in so I got get him.

Computer is finally started and I check my online stuff.

Heath usually comes and joins me when he finished his waffle. We goof off and play with stuff on the desk.

Misc junk is picked up and put where it belongs. Heath begins to take it back out again.

We go outside and run around a bit. I try to tinker with something, but it is nearly impossible to keep track of Heath and Gunner while I am distracted.

We come back inside.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (neeneehar and jewey nannichs) are prepared, cut into small pieces and devoured. I have discovered the secret to getting him to eat everything is small pieces.

On Thursday and Fridays his Speech therapist comes and wastes 30 minutes of everyone's time trying to get him to talk about things he doesn't want to talk about. She calls him a selective mute. I tell her he is a man of few words.

When she leaves we have juice and chocolate chips.

We play cars, and wrestle. He comes and sits in my lap a while and rests while we watch videos on line. Sometimes I just notice he is very quiet and find him passed out on some surface of the house - chair, couch, floor, bed, dresser, ect.

At 230 we go out and get the mail. The highlight of Heaths day. Followed by more videos, cars, wrestling, playing with the rats dogs or rabbits,  and an occasional run around the yard.

Around 400 Steph gets home.

I fall into my chair.

She cooks supper and folds laundry then Heath crawls all over her.

And tomorrow is another day.

I was going to work on Spooky  today but it has rained almost non stop.

Heath, Gunner, and I went out and played in the mud while Steph stayed inside and shook her head.

We did go to Wal-Mart to get something to lock the pantry with. Heath has figured out the old lock and has been helping himself to stuff he shouldn't .

I don't. Sounds like the perfect day. Enjoy them while they are young; for too soon they will be so busy that they forget all about you.

At least then it would serve a purpose other than draining my bank account on occasion.

Put a BIG screen up and you can lay in the back like the old drive-in's.

The hat got crafty today.

Heath and I got our morning stuff out of the way and then settled in to watch it rain.

corsair mug.jpg

As I sat here I saw the old alarm clock that I have had for years. About 10 or so years ago I got a package in the mail. Addressed to me. It was a Disney princess clock. Bad thing was that my ex stopped letting me see my girls about that same time. Fast forward till now and I had a clock that no one wanted. I liked hearing it tick so I wasn't going to get rid of it.

(I scanned the face to use for a template. Have no idea what Heath did with it after that)

While I looked at the clock I was on Facebook looking at Jim and Joe Torbul's plane.

I had an epiphany.

IN a matter of minutes the clock was in pieces.

I found a picture on his page and got to work.

A short while later I had this master piece.

It isn't perfect but it is better than the Disney picture. Heath likes it now too.

I like the clock , but I think I beat you to internet plagiarism. I bought a cheap $5.00 battery operated one, and copied this design. it hangs in the office at work.
