Doc removed the big bandages. Said the hand looks good. I can exercise it as I feel like it.FB_IMG_1434739632454.jpg

Boy, I am so glad to hear your hand is mending well.
How's the back?

As for the voice to text... It's a nice tool, but never, ever trust it. It will drop odd words in there.

Didn't do a thing today but play words worth friends with Emily and watch tv work Allison. Hand is looking better. The orange finally washed off. You can set the bruising in my palm now. Ît is moving a lot better. Barely any pain.IMG_20150622_241729253.jpg IMG_20150622_241706389.jpg

Well you all said I would do it....

After almost no sleep last night due to DarthSteph gasping for air I finally dragged myself to the kitchen.

CoffeeCoffeeCoffee.jpg

Then Steph and I got dressed and headed outside. Christine needed front brakes.

We moved the pop up canopy over to a flat area and parked the truck under it. Steph went to work on it while I hovered around for moral support. She can do disc brakes. I just wanted to be there in case she hit a snag.

I decided to hook up my dishwasher and see if it worked.

I looked around for anything that would fit on the water inlet fitting and found nothing. I finally cut a washing machine supply hose that was smaller than the dishwasher in let and forced it up on the fitting.

In the process I popped a stitch loose on my hand. OOPS! It didn't bleed much so after I had the machine hooked up and running I gave my doc a call.

After being on hold for 25 minutes i got disconnected. When she asked if I would hold again I said no. I told them what happened and since it stopped bleeding no big deal. She said to behave till Friday when the stitches come out.

After Steph had the brakes on I had her pop the valve cover and oil pan off the engine that came out of the truck. Inside we found some neat stuff: the foil top off an oil bottle, maple tree helicopters, and lots of gunk.

The valve covers and timing chain cover went in the dishwasher with some purple power. We will see how well it works. If nothing else I can put tools in it to clean them LOL.

I figured you would be among the first to chime in.

This is the first time I have used a keyboard since the surgery. I am going to have to learn to type again I think.
