I went back and checked on him and he is passed out in a pile of toys wearing nothing but his pull up. He was fully dressed when he went to bed.

I remember those days when you put them down they have their PJ and Diaper on and when you check on them their as naked as the day they were born.  Hopefully no accidents have happened!  We had a few clean ups on Isle 5. :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging:

With the pullups he can change himself. I went in yesterday and there was a pullup sitting outside his bedroom door during his nap. I picked it up and it was full of poop. He had changed it and put it outside. LOL

it is icy outside.

coffeesnow.jpg

I was going to post last night, but this video was uploading at a glacial pace.

If he keeps this up I will be able to retire soon and let him do the work.

And now I am off to the ER because I am having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic the doc put me on. I am itching so bad I want to take a wire brush to myself.

Home again home again.

The BlueOx went through the snow like a tank. It never once slipped or spun. I did have a BMW tailgate me on a back road. We got to the intersection I was turning at and it was a solid sheet of ice. Since no traffic was coming I went a head and ran the light to keep from getting hit. He slid halfway though the intersection before he got stopped.

When we got to the ER I noticed that Steph looked like someone had beat her. Her face was all swollen and red and her eyes looked horrible. I told her to get checked in too. So the doc came back and saw both of us.

He dug up the lab reports on my knee infection and said that it was caused by some kind of contaminant not anything internal. So he changed my antibiotic, gave me something for the itch, and a steroid.

Steph has a sinus infection. He gave her the same meds minus the itch med.

While we waited for the prescriptions Heath and I walked around a bit. All the nurses thought it was hilarious and were all talking to him. Then one old bitty came up and chewed me out saying we couldn't walk around. I just walked past her and kept on walking.  HE was bored out of his mind in the tiny room.

We left the hospital and almost everything had melted. We stopped at Ingle's and got  lunch at the deli and then grabbed a few items we needed.

We gassed up the Ox and were off to the pharmacy.

$60  later and we stopped at Autozone to get some Seafoam.

Back at the house we turned Heath loose. He thought the snow crunching under his feet was awesome. There are little footprints all over the front yard now.

Better be locking the tools up or the house may fall apart when Heath gets done! Glad you both got to see the Dr.

Recovery day.

Last night I was in bed at 11pm. I woke up at 1230 today. I was a bit tired.

i_love_recovering_mug-r7ceeaa6dfc314620b2a563a154e3010f_x7jgr_8byvr_324.jpg

We all took it easy. It started to snow some but nothing that stuck.

Steph left the fridge unlocked and Heath brought me two beers and my beer mug. He was bringing me a third when I told Steph to lock the fridge. I think he wants something and is trying to get me drunk. Maybe he wants his screwdriver back .

Steph is looking a lot better. Mist be feeling better too because she has vacuumed everything in the house. She is currently sucking up Heaths bedroom. Heath and Gunner are barking at the vacuum.

Today I fought Jack Frost and won.

This morning I was up at 7am. Nice to be able to sleep without itching.

I held off on making coffee till Heath was awake because he always wakes up when I open the pantry.

aNOTHER.jpg

Once everyone was awake about 9 I made coffee and got things going.

Steph did soem serious house cleaning for Heaths birthday party on Saturday. Hard to believe he is 3 already.

I went out to get working. I have a guy that wants the Simplicity I have had listed on CL for about a year and a half. I told him I would get it running before he came to look at it.

What I didn't realize was they gas cap had a hole in it and the tank filled up with water and was frozen. Argh.

After I disconnected the fuel lines and put a hair dryer on the carb.

By 10 I was out of my jack and working on sweating.

Both plugs were fouled pretty bad so I ran down to Autozone and grabbed 2 new ones, a can of starting fluid, a transfer pump, and a fuel filter.

With the help of a tank off of an old push mower it fired up.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg

The fuel tank still has ice in it but that can wait till later.

Once it was running I got busy taking apart a few more things for the scrap load and busted the 3 inches of ice off the front porch.

By 3 my back was done.

I came in at 330. I have got to get the tractor stand built. All that bending is not good for a bad back.
