Steph and Heath went to the store and I stayed home. At 2 the mail-carrier brought my secret Santa gift.

When Heath got home we played.

Graham called and his skylight was leaking so I went over and helped him put a tarp over it.

Not sure what happened today

This morning I was awakened by sirens. Lots of sirens. Police and ambulance. We thought they all went around the corner, but then about 5 minutes later one of the ambulances came back code 3 followed by another one silent.

SO I got dressed and went to investigate.

The second to the last house on the street was surrounded by patrol cars and they were stringing up tape. I asked on of the officers what happened and he said he couldn't talk about it. The people that live there are the definition of white trash. This is the house of the woman that kicked the BlueOx a couple of years ago and tried to slam the door on my leg. Nice people. Druggies. The guy has hit many animals in the area. He hit one of our cats while it was on the shoulder of the road in the grass and swerved into the oncoming lane to hit one of our dogs who strayed out of the yard chasing a fox. I am fairly certain that he is the one that shot Zoomer and Diesel.

Diesel got loose a couple of years back and Steph went up the road to look for him She saw him in their driveway and when she pulled up the wife was holding him and the husband was coming out with his shotgun.

I haven't had any proof of him doing it so no charges could be filed.

I haven't heard a thing on the news.

When I cam back Heath was on my desk with the Lego Wrecker He ran off as soon as I came in. Little monkey.

workshop-coffee.png

It was rainy all day so we couldn't get out to do much.

At 130 Steph went shopping with the neighbor. At 2 I put Heath down for a nap. At 245 I heard him in the kitchen. I popped his butt (with those cloth diapers it hurts me more than him) and put him back in bed. He went right to sleep.

I goofed off on the computer till Steph got home then I went out to the shop to tinker around a bit.

The tiny 1/4 inch SK ratchet that I have had for nearly 30 years (and found when we cleaned up the shop some last week) had been soaking in WD40 along with a 1 inch micrometer. The ratchet got an extra 3hours in the carb cleaner and came out working perfectly for the first time in about 8 months. The micrometer works like new.

I did a little organizing of the tool box and poked around in some junk for a while.

After I had one cigar smoked I figured I had wasted enough time and came in.

Heath is up and is eying the Lego wrecker on my shelf. He wants it so bad he can't stand it. After dinner we will get it down and play with it some.

Looking at the "Charge description" at the bottom it says Awdwisi and that it's a felony.

I'd guess that the Awdw part could be Assault with deadly weapon, but have no clue as to what the isi part might be.
