He will be great. I may have to to guide his adjustment a bit, but it has been done before.

Good luck and I hope you have as much enjoyment as you did when Jared was just here for the summer.I would much rather drive in Charlotte at your time instead of 5 oclock in the evening.

How about a picture of your new hair style,we have not seen your growth since your shave  :rocker2:

Glad you have him back! I think you will enjoy having him around. Heath looks like he had fun mowing!

Being around his little brother could very well help Jared as much as it does Heath.  Knowing the little fella is looking up to his big bro might help Jared stay on an even keel.  Hoping all goes great!

Whew....

Well now. After picking Jared up at the airport at midnight Wednesday night I came home and go to sleep by 5am. At 9 I got up droopy and barely functional....

Then I sat at my desk in a haze and talked to Jared some. We played a couple of computer games, then we wandered outside. He checked out all the tractors. After a bit we left and went down to AutoZone to get some oil and other parts.

We decided to take the longer way back so we could look at the place there was a bad wreck Tuesday night. A woman in a pickup pulled out in front of a semi. It was not pretty.

As we started home I saw my neighbor turn in my road at a high rate of speed. I didn't give it a lot of thought. When we got to his house I pulled in his driveway to talk to him about a deck he had that he wanted gone since he built a house and is selling the mobile home.

When we got down his ½ mile long drive I noticed his truck was parked in a dirt pile and his hazard lights were on.

The guys that were moving the mobile home out moved the 10x40 deck and had left it standing up on one leg. Hid old dog Duke crawled under it and the one leg collapsed. He was killed instantly. Ernie was in shambles. He had the dog from a pup.

Ernie is probably the most tenderhearted man I have ever known where animals are concerned.

We got Duke buried and tried to offer some comfort to Ernie. There wasn't much we could do for him. Since there was no way he needed to be driving I took his employee home.

When I got back Jared and I got to loading up the aluminum onto Christine. There were a lot of pieces that had to be taken apart so we got all that done. After about 3 hours of that we were done.

I took him out in Christine and let him work on using the clutch. I may have whiplash but he was starting to get the hang of it.

Dinner was Burritos.

We sat down to watch the new Star Trek movie. I remember about 15 minutes of it and then I fell asleep in my recliner. Heath climbed up on my table and jumped on my stomach. I think my spleen squirted out my bellybutton.

I fell asleep again and woke up with my pants legs full of Matchbox cars.

At 9 I took a shower and went to bed.

At 7am my alarm went off and I came to life. Resurrecting Jared was not as easy.

Then we hopped in Christine and headed off to the smelter.

It took about a hour and a half to get everything melted down and be off again.

I got home and had a pop tart and some coffee and then took a shower and headed off to my doc appointment.

My cute little doc is back off maternity leave.

She looked at my zombie wart again and refroze it. This will be the third time. And she referred me to a hand specialist for my thumbs. I hope they can help.

After I got back home we washed out the back Christine and then Jared and I loaded up and I took him to his grandmothers. We stopped at Bojangles for smoked sausage biscuits.

On the way back I stopped at Lowe's and got two inner tubes so I can fix the tire on the Hemorrhoid.

I got home and started to play with the Craftsman POS I bought a couple of weeks ago. I think it is terminal. The engine now smokes like a house on fire and it dies when you engage the blades. I may just use it for parts since it has the 2 speed rear.

Then I started to work on the Hemorrhoids tire. After I had it broken off the rim I realized I bought the wrong tube. The wheels are 4.60x8. I bought a 10x8 tube. I crammed it in anyway. After I had it filled up with methyl antifreeze I was done. This will be the last time that particular tire can be used. It was falling apart as I was putting it back on the rim. Oh well.

Finally I came in. I was drenched in sweat and the AC sure felt good.

Steph just left for her evening class. Heath and I are having spaghetti tonight.
