...  When it was pulling the truck it had to dig for traction. ...

Put a set of these puppies on it and you will never lack for traction.  They are what I have on the HDT1000.

Add some fluid to the tires and wheel weights and it will pull your house  :D :D :D

Willie, there is a friction device that holds position of the hydro lever.  I don't know exactly where it is, but I'm sure Kenny can help you with that as well.  Yep, fill those tires with fluid & weights on the rims as OB said.....it'll pull like a Carolina Mule!

I am not  big fan of ATV tires on a tractor. I will get a set of AGs for it

The shift problem is on the list of soon to be fixed stuff.

Willie, if you open the hood and stand on the right side, move the Fwd/Rev lever and you will see where it pivots. Take a 3/4" wrench to those and add a bit of snugness to it. You wanna be sure Steph can still move it, though.

Beautiful day.

Well this morning at 1030 my eyeballs pried themselves open and Steph was gone. I figured she and Heath had gone somewhere until I walked to the kitchen and heard him breathing. I guess his shots yesterday wore him out.

So...

blues.png

Then I woke him up and gave him a bowl of cereal and a cup of juice. I didn't know Steph had her internship today.

Heath and I watched TV and played with trucks for a while and then we had to get going. We hopped in the BlueOx to take the Escort to the crusher and it was almost out of gas. We got down to the gas station at the end of the road and my bowels became very unhappy. However I didn't have enough gas to get home and I didn't want to take Heath into a gas station pooper. So I put a splash of gas in it and hightailed it home.

In the process of relieving my distress I dropped my wallet. We got back to the scrap yard before I realized this. Fortunately they know me and didn't require my ID.

Then we headed back home and I searched high and low for my wallet. I couldn't find it anywhere. Steph came home and I called the gas station and they had not seen it. I drove down to see if I had put it on top of the pump. I didn't.

I came back home and got a flashlight and began to search under everything. Finally, I found it. Between a computer bag and Steph's hope chest. How it managed to get wedged in there I have no idea.

Then we all loaded up in the BlueOx and headed up to Hickory. I got two tractors – a Rally and a JD. I think the engine on the JD may be bad.

Then we ran by Sam's to get a couple of things and went to the pet store to get some crickets for all the critters in the tank in my office that all came out today. I guess hibernation is over.

Tomorrow I will go out and see if either tractor can be persuaded to run.

Even with the new dew, they recognized you?

I'm sure they found ways to entertain themselves.

Well I have a happy wife now. And an unhappy me.

This morning the phone woke me up..

712.jpg

Then I answered emails and phone calls for several hours. Once that let up a bit Steph had to leave for a doc appointment so Heath and I had the run of the house.

After he went down for a nap I went out and fired up the Buzzard and got to work.

First the trailer with the washer and dryer had to come around front. That was pretty easy with the lift on the tractor.

Then I got the tractors pulled off the trailer.

Steph came home and we carried the washer and dryer in the house and swapped them for the ones we have been using. The washer is huge and the dryer works fast. She is very happy.

The trailer got pulled back to its resting spot with the old washer and dryer and the Ford F250 tires and wheels. I am thinking I need to work on the hydraulics because the FF would not lift the trailer with the tires on the front of it. It would barely lift one end of a tractor. I am pretty sure it is supposed to lift more than that. Maybe it is just tired LOL

Once I came in I got another phone call from someone wanting to come look at tractor parts. I gave him the address and he said he would be right over. About 30 minutes later I texted and asked what time he would be here. He couldn't find us. I gave him directions and about 4 minutes later he was here. It seems that our street sign is gone. I guess someone hit it in the past couple of days.

He looked around a bit and bought the push blade off the Sears Custom. He will pick it up next weekend.

Since the seat and motor off that tractor are sold and the axle is busted I guess that is about it for the custom.

Then I came inside and got to posting more ads online.

Steph brought me supper – chicken and potatoes.

Then I got a message from my ex sister in law who Jared is staying with. She is wanting me to help her get money from my ex for keeping him. It is really a screwed up family and hopefully I can get him to stay here when he comes to visit this summer. What I really want to do is drive to Utah (where they live) and kick some butts and drag him back here.
