Well i thought i would share some pics of a bolens 1886 i am redoing. As you can tell it was in rough shape when i got it smoked some and was just worn out.It has been awhile since i have had time to work on it.The hood was already painted but will have to be stripped and done again bad spot in the paint. It orginaly cam with a 18hp khohler but is being upgrade to a 20hp which is ready for install. This will also have power steering which was a option on this tractor. The orginal charging system was a 30 amp system which is very costly to replace so the 20 hp runs a 15 amp system and will be installed. But anway hope to get it done sometime.

Hey Bob,that is going to make a very nice looking 1886.That tractor looks familiar, did you get that from a guy in Ohio that was a member of MTF ? I believe his user name was 8888 ,and his name was Joe something .I could be wrong but it looks like the one he sold.

Well it has been sometime since i have worked on the 1886.But the good news is i have started on it again. It is now running. There has been some issues changing out the K482 to a K532.I have to take the exaust manifold and drill out and retap the studs for the muffler so don't pay no attention to the muffler on it as it will be changed later.hope in the next few weeks i can get it finished in my spare time lol.
