I just bought a Cub 70, the engine is a k241A. From what ive read the 100 had the k241as. Im thinking i got a 70 that had transplant or ive got a 100 with a hoof from a 70????? Im not sure.

After some more reseach im leaning towards 100 with a 70 hood

Hard to say for sure. I found the kohler service manual and according to the book its a 1976 k241 so that makes it a transplant.

A picture might help. The air cleaner is the difference. Take a look at this picture as the air cleaner is smaller on the 70. The serial numbers do not distiguish the difference nor are there any other tags.
