Ad says:

"I got it from a nursing home."

I did not know there was a nursing home for old tired tractors!

I was going to bust on the seller for this but after reading it he does have a point even if he is a bit of an ass about it.

Question & Answer

Q: I purchased some weights 6 months which didn't have bolts. Would be be a nice guy (Phil) and tell me the size a length of bolts needed. Joe Apr-04-13
A: I AM a nice guy...but I just dont have a burning desire to go to work for you with nothing in it for me..Even MORE SO because I know enough about this stuff to know that even if I did tell you the bolt lengths that work for these weights may NOT work on yours, and then I look bad to you and others as well..I strongly suggest that you put YOUR weights up to YOUR wheel and MEASURE THROUGH the HOLES to determine the length that you need..Then simply go to the hardware store and buy them..And I am SURE that they will work..SINCERELY..PHIL..VINTAGE TRACTOR

I have found that a good portion of the sellers on eBay, are in it just for the money and don't care or don't know what they are selling.

I wrote selling a DB with a Clinton engine, and they swore it was all original. When I told them that Sears never used Clinton motors on the DB's, I got a snotty reply and was told not to contact them again. The ad still says original.

Unfortunately for the seller, Sears still sells these. NOT wheel horse but doubt GT would know the difference.

$49.49  each, delivered free to your nearest store.

Monster Mower for sale or trade, 15.5hp craftsman lawn mower, 33in by 12.5in truck tires, all tires hold air, hydrostatic rear end/trans, strait pipe exaust running out of hood with flapper, it sounds very good for a lawn mower engine and it is a little loud but idles nice when turned down, headlights work, good battery, new starter, starts every time, easy to stear, will go about 15 to 20mph on black top, rides smooth on flat surfaces, all hand controlled including clutch and brake, it stops fast, it pulls up hills and takes off fast with out a problem, good for parades, was drove by myself in the 2013 may day parade in owingsville. Looking to trade for anything with an engine or will sell to best offer.

If the tires all matched, I would go buy it just for the tires and rims, part the rest...I need a good set of 33" tires for my truck :D

There are a whole bunch of things wrong with that beyond the price.
The hood is wrong, the "16" is mailbox numbers, missing grill piece, pretty sure this is a Frankenstein. Heck, one of the donors is parked in the background of one of the pics?
Not to mention, where the flip is the steering wheel?
It looks pretty, but not that pretty. :(

I hope he doesn't seriously think that the "40.000" is a realistic price....

These are not rare and they made a bunch of them that year.

If someone offers him $300 he better take it!

Yea, looks like a 73-74 ST16, but gas tank moved, wrong hood and grill, etc.

I emailed him and he said the steering wheel is on it. Must be a tiny wheel.
