I'd think 6 RPM would be awfully slow. 10 sec for 1 revolution.

That appears to be an electric motor for a motorized air duct damper. They move very slowly. Not sure it would hold up to the chore at hand.

I have seen a thread on that exact mod. I have only found it once. I am pretty sure the tread is on this forum. I want to do that same mod. The rotators are on ebay. Hope someone comes along to point us to the tread. A search may also turn up the thread.

I wonder if you're talking about my "upgrade" on my Haban Blower?

Close on the mod. This was a Hydraulic setup that rotated the chute. The person used a high flow hydraulic motor. The setup was possibly on a haban 2-stage blower. Just did a search on the forum and was unable to locate the thread. I know the mod wasnt on MTF either. I am not sure what forum it was on now.

Well I found the thread. The discussion is on weekend freedom machines. How I got there I have no idea. I just joined this forum and I am on one other forum. Just do a search on that forum and several discussions come up. The mod was done on a John Deere single stage blower. Hope this helps.
