After the doctors here consulted with hospitals in Little Rock, AR, they were told to send tissue to Pennsylvania for a diagnosis as well. They say this is looking more rare than what has been seen here, so we are awaiting reports from Pennsylvania by end of the week. I will keep you all posted as to my condition, good or bad, Thanks to all the prayers and good wished from you all, as we truly appreciate them all here as we continue to pray ourselves, Dale

Please tell Dale we are continuing to keep him in our thoughts.

My Boss's wife just got the "Remission" verdict a couple of days ago. She had gone thru a clinical trial for her particularly resistant version. Very much a relief.

I have postedDales CT Scan of his tumor found on his liver in the post so that you may understand more of what we are discussing here with Dale's diagnosis and maybe you can understand where we stand on his prognosis. Ok, here is what has happen in the last 36 hours: we were notified that dale had Liomyosarcoma and had a year to live with heavy chemo and then two hours later it was changed to GIST which is a stomach cancer (enables him to be here with us years longer doctors say) and it has already spread to other areas including the lungs, head, liver (started point) among other areas. They say this is treatable, yet I still believe Dale will not be with us long. I hope the dr.'s are right and Dale is with us many years to come. I am still going to prepare for the worst and pray for the best outcome possible. Thanks to all the informational uplifting stories as these give me reason to be optimistic but as for now I am extremely skeptical at this point. The doctors are going to be looking at test results from a endoscope done yesterday and get back with us with treatment option to begin on Dale. His treatment is going to be with pills if he is able to take them and will cost him around 5,000 dollars a month. Please continue the prayers coming as I believe the good LORD above is not going to put more on us than we can handle. MH81, I am so happy to hear she is in remission now and hopefully I can post the same for Dale and he returns to the forum as he plans in the future. Right now he is staying pretty week and seldom leaves his bed right now; although he is still eating pretty good (not like normal but pretty good). Thanks again everyone and we will post changes as they come about. I am sure Dale would love to hear from you guys/gals of the forum, so here is his # is available via PM to any of the Moderators if you would like to speak with him.189381_3570053629912_1819644500_n.jpg 32392_3570053389906_977144091_n.jpg 315795_3570052389881_902257398_n.jpg God Bless All, Cheryl
