Time to sprinkle pepper all over in the garage. Maybe the smell of pepper and no mice will keep the cats out too. We have a lot of roaming cats in the neighborhood.

Here's one not as useful helpful hint: When you caulk around a sink, tub, window, whatever, use Clorox wipes instead of a wet rag or your finger right after it came out of your mouth to clean or flatten the bead.
Heck, use them before you put down the caulk on tubs and sinks. Does a pretty good job of surface prep.
