We were talking today at lunch about summer camps (and no, it wasn't "This one time, at band camp" stuff)

Anyways, this song came up. Found a video that was of the whole song. Made me smile with memories, not content. :D

Oh, and who can forget this one...

Hmmmm. I missed the camp experience entirely. I've never heard that Frog song before.

Summer camp was a reward to kids that worked hard on their farms around here. And probably a relief to the parents to get rid of us for a week.

My "summer camp" experience was limited to being shipped off to my grandparent's farm South of Cleveland every Summer. Interestingly now that I look back on it, graduating from grub hoeing to "being run" by a Frasier rototiller probably began my love/hate relationship with "earth moving equipment". Most likely that's why I owned my 2 Gravely L's for so long. I guess I just missed the abuse.:D

For me it was a post maul.. I have a old one outside that i refuse to store inside.. To me stored inside would mean i want to use it.. It can lean on the fence post outside for the rest of its life..
