I got an 85 Caddy for scrap. Taking it apart today I opened up the petcock on the radiator and was greeted with this lovely stuff. NO it isn't oil it wasn't oily. It appeared to be almost straight stop leak.

Ewww is right! That looks pretty nasty!

I could not help but notice... you knife says Japan on it! What where you thinking?! Everybody knows the good stuff is made in china!

You do know you're not supposed to drain the radiator by stabbing it with a knife, right? :D

Knife is a Spiderco. Great knives. Highly recommended.

Looks like they may have missed a maintenance coolant flush & change.

yes, they make great knives....I have many styles of their knives from folders to fixed blade....they last forever and keep an edge. Yea I would agree with straight stop leak...nasty stuff...
