Ss15 Fuel Pump?

Can I hook up the gas line straight to the carb and bypass the fuel pump. Mine was missing when I bought the tractor.

As long as the tank is above the inlet on the carb, it should be OK, but It may start to lean up or run out of gas when the tank is low or the tractor is running uphill.

There are a couple threads here about reasonable aftermarket low psi electric pumps. I'll look a little later for them.

If you look at a different one, make sure it's a low pressure (2ish psi)

Thanks, I found an original pump for 30 on eBay. I might just end up going aftermarket.
