Hi Guys,

Made the 60 mile trip yesterday afternoon and came back with the goods. Fortunately, it was a "barter" situation, so no actual money changed hands. Everything seems to be there, and the motor is most definitely the original "N" type. The tires look to be original too, if that be possible. Everything has been put away for the winter, and come spring I'll look forward to getting it up & running. :-)

Thanks much,

RUT

That is a very nice setup you got there! Looks great. Bartering is just icing on the cake too.

Don't put it away! You need to get it running and mount the blade for snow removal.

Very nice looking DB, and you are just around the corner from me [Keene]!! The Briggs N is just about bullet proof, so getting that one to run should not be a major issue. Parts are pretty easy to come by, Please keep us in the loop when you get into it!!

Hello from another DB owner, I have 1 restored, 1 almost done, 1 waiting to be started, and 3 for parts.

If you need any help with the manuals I have copies online.

Here some before and after shots.

Howdy neighbor,

You know, I believe this one will run with a little tinkering. Compression seems to be good, so I'll probably pull the carb. and check out the spark situation. I'll probably just pull the motor itself and bring it in where it's warm. :-)

That's my 57560 Super Power. I also have a 5756 just about done, and a 57561 Super Power to do next.

Plus another 5756, a 575144 for parts, and a 5751 that I may restore.

Ok, just ordered ignition parts as well as a carb. rebuilding kit from Jim @ Air Cooled Engine Parts. Glad to see most of these parts are still available! :-)

If you look at my avatar you'll see I've got that pretty well covered. :-)
