Yep, ya better wait!  If your tow rope is long enough, can't ya pull from the far side of the pond on terra firma, and just use a GT to pull her out there?

There's enough rigging there, we wouldn't even have to go out on the ice, but I don't

want it to sink before we start.

And I certainly didn't want Doug to go swimming.

Not a good time of the year to be swimming up there! Lets wait a bit longer!

In these parts we wager around town about when the ice will go out so this is an familiar game and a fun one at that. Thanks for putting the show on the road for a 2nd year.

Well, it's out on the ice. We had some cold windy weather since last week.

It's sitting on about 6"+.

On Tuesday, we'll fire up a thread over in the Site Supporter forum, and

start taking your picks. Just as a reminder, here is last years opening post. It contains

some tips/pointers, and rules, etc.

One last dig for you guys that aren't site supporters. Make it your New Years resolution, and

become one.

See you weather gurus Tues.

I have missed this thread Will. Our weather here in this part of PA has had temps above normal. We are supposed to possibly reach 60 degrees on Sunday. Thanks for another contest this year..

Hmn i wounder if i could take the 401 .. at 12 kph if i took the back route it would be a 60-70 hour trip :) judging that a tank of fuel lasts 5 hours i would need to fill it up 12 -14 times at $15 per tank it would be a $210+ trip .. :)
