Well, it's almost time to start the second annual Ice Melt contest.

Here is a link to last years opening thread.

http://gardentractor...st/#entry129316

Last week, the pond skimmed over with ice, so I pulled last years victim back out of the water, so
it would be ready to park on the pond, when the ice gets thick enough. I lost the hood down there
somewhere, so I may have to find something to strap on there.

We won't officially start this contest, until the tractor gets out on the ice. I'll update on that.
Hey, there's a contest right there. "When does he have enough guts to go out on the ice?" LOL

Here are pics of last years victim being pulled back out.

Nope, I won't be diving for it, but maybe I'll try to hook it with a bunch of rare earth magnets, once the ice is thick
enough. I know roughly where it is.

Good to have the contest back again Will. Let's see now, Dec. 21st for the ice to be thick enough. Even if it doesn't look that thick to you, trust me, go ahead and walk out on it.

Texans have to use ice in their tea year around. They know plenty. I heard a Texan invented iced coffee, as a matter of fact.

From what i remember of last year, Will took some pretty big pains to make sure there were no contaminants in the machine, all oils drained and residue removed.
