I just like the atmosphere! Even if this site just had the "off topic" section and there were no mentions of GTs I would still love it here!
Is there any such place???

And nobody is hiding behind a screen name to make life rough for others.
Well, I wouldn't exactly say that. David Brown is not my name, it's my screen name. David Brown is actually an English made tractor that Case eventually bought out. Neighbor used to sell them and I liked them, hence the name. Sorry to ruin your rosey view of the membership. Not designed to make life rough at all, just liked the machine and borrowed the name.

The first tractor I got to run was a David Brown, nice tractor and good memories. I guess I should have made it clearer in my post. What I meant to say was with members getting to meet in person it is more like writing to friends. As for a rosy picture, we have to remember to take it as it comes.
This is true. And I didn't think "shorty" was your real name either.

No, not my real name but one that was given by a coworker. It stuck and I thought it was a good way to start here. This is true. And I didn't think "shorty" was your real name either.

I was wondering how long it would be before you said something about it! Lol. I am surprised nobody asked why I address you as Jeff! I guess the secret is out now...

I just look at it as a screen name like everybody elses to be honest. People call each other by screen names all the time if they don't know the person's real name. I guess that with a screen name that is actually a real name, I probably should clarify but I figured it would come out eventually.

Well to clear up any misconceptions, I present the new and improved signature.
Thanks Jeff, I like having a real name to go by. Makes it more like friends.
