The same gent that I found the ST16 last week had "Another Old Tractor" out back. I went out and looked, but didnt have the cash.

FFwd to Friday, told (begged) the wife i was going pull a little out of the acc't before the tractor went bye-bye.

It's rough, and needs a LOT of cosmetics, but the engine is free and has compression.

That's a nice tractor, big motor, gear drive, I bet that thing can pull with enough weight added to it.

Looks like you guys got some snow down there too.

We got about an inch. Just enough to make the roads slippy with the minivan and trailer.

The battery is bad, so is the ground wire. The positive wire is cut going to the coil.
:biting_nails:
Some creative jumper leads, a booster pack, cleaned the points, cap full of gas down the intake and Rrr, Rrr, Rrr, VROOOM!!!

:bounce:  :dancingbanana: :beerchug:

I have a "few" things to do before I can take it for a test drive... but I think it'll be a runner.
Sounded strong for those few seconds until it ran out of gas.
This one is one the back burner until I get the ST16 tank cleaned and reassembled.

Nothing in the intake, and the PO is looking for the parts he thinks he has. By the grace of God, the choke was closed tight when they left it the last time.

I don't know Alan! It sounds like it might be a lot of work! If you want I guess I could take the burden off your hands so you can spend your free time on the st16. :bigrofl:
