Would anyone happen to know off hand approximately how much valve to piston clearance is in these engines when stock?

I went and tore mine all the way down, and didn't check it first. That's a lot of putting back together and tearing back down for one measurement....

Thanks!

Thanks, I have all the manuals. It's not a regular clearance issue. It only comes into play when one starts modifying the engine, so nothing in any Kohler manual.

When I tore it down, I was thinking are the parts good, it was only after I started thinking of putting it back together I went DOH!!!
