We went to the local Orschelns (Midwest chain similar to TSC) & picked up a few things, mostly for Chief & Dottie, yesterday on the way to Mom's for dinner (noon). Then this morning to Shopco (new here this Summer, second time I've been in the store), I only went because I wanted a small TV here by the computer.

As far as Walmart or bigger stores, I wouldn't go near them!!!! ~~ Lowell

"Black Friday", the absolute illustration of greed, avarice and the rapid slide of the human race towards totally meaningless Christmas holidays. When one is defending their place in line against all comers, cruising for a parking space, putting up with the dregs of humanity running on credit, the true meaning of Christmas is as far away as the Star of Bethlehem...

And I say once again this year..... HUMBUG!
