I have been watching the construction of a stock pond from my front porch, Three months now. The area in my view is about 4 square miles. They have cleared all the trees and fence (and some phone boxes "mine") from the whole perimeter, and installed new fence. I decided to get a close-up today, BTY Happy Thanksgiving!

Here are some pictures, Blasting, Digging etc. And a Video of the walk we did. I hear the large dump trucks as I am posting this...... hmm wonder what a heavy equipment operator makes on a Holiday?

Rather large pond. Might be good fishing someday!

Belatedly, a Happy Thanksgiving to all, from north of the border--- must be nice to stand outside in shirtsleeves this time of year and not freeze to death! Great dugout, nice they left the tree in the middle. Fine place for a picnic while fishing :dancingbanana:
