I'd like to thank everyone who wished me a safe journey and those who shared their plans too. We had a great time, though the grown ladies grumbled a bit after the first night that it was too cold. The days were lovely, clear and near 70, but the nights dipped down to 28 or so. Some re-arranging brought smiles back and a good time was had by all. We camp in the middle of Grandmother's old farm that has been planted down to pines, and about the only amenity is a spring at the bottom of the hill. According to my uncle, that spring has been there for perhaps 200 years, with the rock lining still in place. He says they drank from it regularly when they were growing up.

Boys just want to chop wood
Sometimes it just takes a man LOL.
I didn't get any pictures, but my BIL brought a small selection of firearms with him to let my boys shoot with. He is in the military, and my boys love to bombard him with questions about guns, survival training, and anything else they can think of.
NUTNDUN, thanks so much for this great place to visit and hang out.
