All you guys traveling, be VERY careful out there! I am lucky this year as tomorrow the dinner is here at my home, and then Saturday, we have to travel a full "almost 1/2" a mile to Meangreen's for a late 2nd Thanksgiving meal.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and especially to those of you that must work on the turkiest of days! I got the T-shirt long ago and many times.. and Christmas... and New Years.... and any day Ma Nature blowed out a water main or it snowed. :D

We have mixed blessings this year. Tonight our neighbors delivered the full course pre-done turkey dinner this evening and we're set for a week including apple pie! The bad news came yesterday when we had to pull the plug on our property deal due to title and oil tank removal issues. Square one and no JD2720. :D

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Our turkey day will begin with a carefully timed trip to Rhode Island that finishes with "Alice's Restaurant" precisely at twelve noon on the car radio. For those of you unfamiliar with RI, it's kind of like a state, only smaller. Much like Pluto, scientists have been having difficulty classifying RI. I propose a new category: "Dwarf State". All that said, RI is a lovely place, the food is fantastic and when the whole family including my wife and her five sisters come together the dysfunctional family fun is endless and can not be recreated anywhere else in the universe. The day will end with me hurting myself in the annual family football game, then nursing my wounds with a cold beverage on the couch at home watching the Patriots. May your holiday be as rewarding!

Are you in Rochester? Dave Kane has always played that song for years on WCMF!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my extended family here at GTTalk! I Hope that everyone's day is a blessing! We'll be hitting both sets of parents today and then finishing up the evening with the broadcast of "Punkin Chunkin 2012"! Hope that those of you who are traveling are blessed with safety and courtesy!

Looking at the food and the menu, anyone on this forum that doesn't have plans please feel free to swing in. Foods on at noon. I do believe we have enough food to feed about forty.

Silly me, I should of posted the menu:

Lemon Basil Turkey
Orange Duck
Crock-pot mashed potatoes (mashed, with butter, sour cream, and cream cheese mixed in) & turkey gravy
Sweet potatoes
wild rice and sausage stuffing
oyster stuffing
green bean casserole (you know, with the French Onions on top)
brown-sugar laced squash
sweet corn
broccoli and bean salad
taco salad
homemade dinner rolls
loaf of homemade beer batter bread
two pumpkin pies, and one pecan

LOTS OF BEER

We're open 9:00 am until we run out of food. Which should be about next Tuesday.....
