To the guys who own these, Do your clocks have a separate switch to run the clock and light? Mine is all one system which kind of stinks because It would be nice to keep the clock part going and not have the light burning all day long....

Do you keep yours plugged in all day?

Mines all in one.
Mine is out in the barn and stayes on at all times, put some oil on the clock grears befor you run it for a long time.

mine is the same way if i dont want the light i just take the bulb out.. if you dont mind me asking how much did that clock sell for.. i paid 350 for mine an i love haveing it.. i doing a showroom for my tractor and attachment an that an the other sign i have are going to be nice hanging in there

Doc, I'm sure if you are ingenious enough you could splice in a switch yourself into the power wires going to the lights so that you can leave the clock running all the time and switch on the lights whenever you want them. Unless you are worried about keeping the clock all original and don't want to make any modifications to it...

jus unscrew the bulb half way out till 2 prongs arnt conecting an you good. its a floresece

Congratulations on another fantastic find to your Bolens collection Brian. It sure sounds like a very special addition and it sure is great to know that is being protected by someone that will keep the Bolen's past alive and well for those that want to learn how good machinery used to be made.Enjoy your latest find.
