I drove by the bakery in Tulsa yesterday, I wanted to stop and tell them where the unemployment office is.

I guess no pay is better than a cut in pay.

I read that Hostess has closed it's doors after one of the unions threatened to strike. The "owner" has called it quits and has permanently layed off all 18,500 employees. I assume the seller is taking advantage of them closing up.

Hostess is bankrupt, and the Teamers agreed to the new contract, but the bakers union said no, and went on strike.

It appears Hostess is done. Too bad for the workers. The Twinkie should survive with a new owner.

I suspect that a company with deep pockets will buy the Name or the factory's. This is the word from the company.

Another american institution brought to its knees. And a big part of my youth gone, its sad!
All that junk I ate and loved, long before anyone told me it was bad for me.
And 185oo more people out of work?
