I replaced my pull-behind lawn sweeper with a mid 80's John Deere 111 that has a 38 inch deck and a rear bagger. I know, it is not a gt, but man does it run great! And it beats the heck out of the lawn-sweeper for picking up leaves.
It has a Briggs 11 1/2 hp motor in it and wasn't running very good when I bought it. I cleaned out the carb, re-adjusted the air and fuel screws, replaced the fuel bowl gasket, then replaced the battery, and now it runs great!

baggers are great to have
I first mow the leaves then I bag the leaves
the leave are smaller than and less dumping of the bags
yes it is more seat time - but that is the best part
