I know what you mean about work getting in the way. I haven't had time to even look at the GT 18.

Well, i finally found time to start working on the garden tractor again, I moved everything to my neighbors shed because it has been so windy i can't paint. In the last couple weeks i got the engine rebuilt, i also got the mower deck painted, and i almost have the grill finished. I had to make a new hinge because the original one was broke, it is now being painted and should be done today. I also got the push blade braced up and a cutting edge welded on. I am now going to bolt thick rubber to the cutting edge so it wont scratch up cement when he blades snow.
Here are a couple update pictures.
I am hoping to resemble Wednesday and then i should be completely done.

Thanks,
I am going to paint the push blade today, and i am going to assemble the hood and grill assembly today too.
I also need to work on one gear box on the mower deck, i changed out a couple bearings in it and now i am having a couple issues with it. So i hope to have the gear box done today, then i can paint them and then resemble the mower deck.
I will get more pictures today, and i will give a update tonight.
Thanks for the support.

Looking good, can't wait to see the finished project.

What did you do to rebuild the hinge? I have one that is gonna need help sooner or later.

And what issues is the deck giving you?

I was going to get some pictures tonight, but i forgot my camera, i will get pictures tomorrow.
Right now i am working on a little trailer too, i am needing to haul this garden tractor from KS, to Tulsa, OK. so i am working on my little mower trailer.
Right now it is raining and then it is going to get cold, so i am going to have a lot of free time to work on everything (i hope)

I did a little work on one of the gear boxes but it still isn't fixed yet. I disassembled the gear box to replace a bearing, i got it back together and now it wont turn?. I then found out when i tighten the last gear, it then locks it up. I just noticed tonight that there is a small spacer missing, i searched the shop benches and under the benches and i never found anything?
I am going to try and find another spacer tomorrow and then get it resembled.

I also got the push blade finished and now it just needs paint. I made the blade where you can change the angle while sitting on the mower, i hope it is all going to work out, so far it is working pretty good.
Thanks for everyone's support and info.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas.

When are you coming to Tulsa? I have a different way of going if you don't want to pay the turnpike fees on 412. It's about $5 with a 2-wheel trailer. I never use that and make the trip just as fast. But I live on the NE side, too.

Hope the spacer presents itself. Another case of Where's Waldo... Sounds like an epidemic to me :D

Well, i got the gear box working, i also got a coat of paint on the blade, the upper dash is now painted and now i am needing to clear coat it.
I got the trailer finished today and it is the only thing i got pictures of.
The rest of the parts that are being painted are in another friends shop that is heated so i wasn't able to get pictures.
The trailer had a real wide bed on it, and it was also built up real high, i went with a bed the same width as the frame and i also put on a 16" dovetail.
I got the wood in place and now it just needs to be bolted down.
