I surf Craigslist everyday and wouldn't you know it, something popped up.

http://minneapolis.c...3404361584.html

Not sure what to make of the " repair he was making " however, this little beauty strikes me as a potential score.

All righty then... what say Ye ?

I'm sure it's something that can be fixed because if it were beyond repair, chances are he wouldn't have started to di it in the first place. Is it bad that it bothers me about the poor guys head injury having an affect on wether I'd buy......

NO... I thought the same thing on the head injury. Then, the little devil in me thought: did he really have a head injury OR is this yet another way of saying the tractor has MAJOR problems? :(

I think I'll watch it for a few days. If it is still there, I'll contact the seller and see if I can make a deal. Many perspective buyers are turned off by a collection of parts. Myself, I see it as an opportunity.

An hour or less of "tire kicking" should tell you if it will run and move or not. He might have just removed the rear fenders to clean out the crud in the gas tank. A short phone call would find out if he really had a head injury. I am thinking possible stroke or it could be a scam. One easy way to find out....call.
If it was legit, I would go put it back together for him. You might just be paying it forward.

Are you sure it's not the tractor that has the head injury..... ? On another note; does the snow blower go with it?

Before I close, good on yah for paying it forward  .

Worth a shot. If it's legit, it'll be gone tomorrow.
