Three years ago I went to Jeffersonville IN and stoped at Brinly-Hardy and bought a new share for my 10 in. plow. It cost $22 and change. I looked at the price of a new one today and they are $93 and change.

Can you spell "r-e-p-a-i-r w-h-a-t y-o-u h-a-v-e"? If I ever need one, then I'll weld mine if it's broken, or build it up if it's worn.

What inflation? Gubmint keeps issuing reports, says "No Inflation". That's how come they can keep printing all that money. Plus, them things are made in China now, where everything is cheaper than dirt, the costs are made up and the points don't really matter!

Funny this came up, as at the plow day someone was telling me he had worn out 3 shares and a landside. I asked him why he just didnt rebuild them, but remeber the answer. I suppose that a lot of the city folks dont have the equipment to do that kind of work.

Anyone who is going to replace their old one and throw it out, let me know. I might try to do something with them. I havent done any for several yrs, and they were a lot bigger, but im sure its the same basic thing.

I did notice several plows at Dan's that had funny looking spots on the shares, almost a pock mark were the steel peeled out.

I called Brinly this week and they said they were $55. plus shipping for a 10 in. The on line catalog list at $93. She said they have some 12 in. left but all they are making are the 10 in.

I talked with a woman at Brinly a couple of months ago about why the discontinued their two gang disc and she told me then that the share for 12" was $63 plus shipping and they only had a few left and when they were gone that was it. I don't need one but when I do I'll repair the one I have.
