Well many of you know that I picked up a nice pair of Jake hubcaps a couple weeks ago. So the hunt was on for a good Chief to put them on someday. I know....kind of backwards but I couldn't pass up the hubcaps. Much to my suprise the search didn't last long. I headed out the door at 5 a.m. this morning for Chi-town.....snagged not one but two machines and quickly headed home. No traffic to deal with just some unfortunate tolls. :( Made great time and didn't get hung up by my tongue on this trip. LOL!

Not quite sure of the years yet.......as many of you know the one in the front is older. Was told before I came that the one in the back ran fine, which it did, and the one on the front of the trailer didn't run. Well did some checking once it was home, hooked up a couple loose wires, new spark plug, sprayed the carb a bit, filed the points and she fired off. We have a runner!!!! It needs a whole fuel system cleaning but we now have 2 runners! :)

Here is a picture of them as soon as they made it on the trailer and money changed hands.............

Here are the hubcaps I bought a couple of weeks ago as well........

I'd hate to see what would happen if you found a Cadillac hub cap at a flea market!

You did real well Chief!
I got a new spark plug and I think a Mopar Hemi fits on it. Sweet!

Nice looking tractors. The one on the left has a pretty elaborate exhaust system on it!

Thanks you guys! Glad to add a little color to my collection. It was a fun trip yesterday to be able to get these.

Hey you noticed the exahust Brian......unbelievable what some people do. I think I might be able to melt the residual snow on the driveway after plowing this winter! :)
