ok....so I mowed one last time today with the Snapper to finally mulch everything up and figured since I am pretty much done with the new Sears for the year, (usein the ol Ariens to take care of snow), it's time to see what the damage is the last owner had done, neglected, etc..... so I am finding so far that this thing has never been takin care of in many ways. Wires are shot and needs rewired everywhere, terminals are beyond rusted in most places and barely hangin on, grease, dirt, sticks, acorns, you name it...everywhere. I have seen much worse and restored without too much issue so none of this bothers me in that aspect. Besides, I love a good challenge. The part that irritates me is just to see the way people neglect these machines and expect them to still perform everyday. Pure laziness in my opinion. Anyway....I take pics of everything before I dissasemble wether its a GT or anything else I might mess with....as most of you know you would be amazed at what you forget and how things went together....so on that note I'll stop rambling and here ya go. More to come.....

That looks like fun to me! :dancingbanana: Its much more rewarding bringing something back that was in terrible condition, than it is restoring one that was already in good shape. I like a challenge as well. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your progress.

I'm sure, the pics don't do it justice, as they never do, but from the way
you describe it, it's a wreck. Looks not to bad to me, but as said, it could just
be lack of details in the pics.

Either way, looking forward to updates of the resto, and seeing another one saved, and brought back to life.
