Having trouble getting the transmission to bolt up

Posted Image

Actually I just got tired and my shoulder was hurting so I quit. We got the truck into position and then lowed the engine down a bit so we could cover it all up. Tomorrow hopefully it will live.

That engine does not go in crosswise! The water pump should be forward/toward the grille!! Just in case you didn't know! :bigrofl:

Ah yes, I remember reading about those. GM experimental front wheel drive. I understand they made 3 of those to see if they could compete with the Asian auto market. I heard one was stolen somewhere in North Carolina and never seen again. The last information coming out of Detroit was the reward had risen to 1.5 million dollars returned in any condition. You might want to check into this. :smilewink:

Warwagon, are you sure you've done this before? Not trying to be critical, just asking.

Having trouble getting the transmission to bolt up

Remove valve cover and exhaust manifold. Bolt on tranny through any holes that line up.
