Have 1617 Plastic King and using older blade on it. Mounts the same. Uses diff lift link which I got off epay now. BUT, the rockshaft on later ones has a lift lever in a diff position than the older tractors. Older ones were long and on bottom of rackshaft, that's what I have now. Newer ones had a shorter arm and is above the other, slightly in towards tractor and leaned back if I recall. There is even rockshafts that had BOTH arms on them, but pretty hard to find. SO, went and got 3/8" x 1-1/2" flat stock today and gonna make the arm. I plan on curving the cut out on end to wrap partly around the rockshaft for welding. Wondering if anyone has later model and can tell me what length that arm might be? And maybe how far in from outer end of same shaft it is welded on. I plan on mounting plow and attaching my new lift rod and trying to fix/invent where the part should go. Just thought a little head start on the part that I could make first would be good. thanks!
