has anyone ever seen a briggs and stratton with a red painted crank and a threaded one inch crankshaft.

Its a 1970s briggs 8hp that i am modifing for fun

I have seen them with a 1" external threads but never one painted red. Was it all red or just the parts outside the block? Seems like the crank rotation and the used oil itself would take the paint off.

I've seen motors and transmissions painted red on the inside, it help to seal the metal, and allows the oil to run back better
