I'm pretty sure that the sprayer I just bought was made by MacKissic. At least the frame that mounts to the tractor sure looks like the frame that they used for the chipper/shredder. It appears to be rear mounted.

Does anyone have any literature/manuals, pics, etc. for it? It came with a hand held wand, but I'm wondering if there was also a boom that came with it as well.

Any info that anyone could give me would sure be appreciated.

Here are some pics of the mount which is still on the trailer. I took them from left to right. I have the tank on the inside of the MH, while the pump, hand held wand, and PTO shaft are in the 'basement storage'.

EDit:

Dang. Pics posted in te wrong order. First pic should be the last.

Looks pretty neat. I'd love to see pics of it all together. I think a rear sprayer for the tractor would be really cool. I certainly would like one. Then you can spray liquid fertilizer down instead of dry fertilizer or spray pesticides on your garden or something. Hope you get it working, OB!

I'm pretty sure that this one is a MacKissic.

The mounting frame is very similar to the one for the chipper/shredder, and the pump is PTO driven.

From what I saw on the Chem Spray literature it's pump was driven by the rear tire of the tractor.

Trent, would you be so kina as to take some pics of your's and post them here? I'd especially likeone of the data tag.

I called MacKissic, aaand the fella I talked to said that they do have some old literature. Not sure what it is, but he said that a pic or two would help him figure out what to send.

If I can give him the actual model number that would be even better.

Guys, thanks for the upload and link.

With that info, I called back and talked with a gentleman from MacKissic named Steve Matson. He's a slaes manager at MacKissic, and he's going to scan and send me some literature. I asked if he could send me as much as he can for ALL of the various GT brands, and he's going to do what he can.

Hopefully I'll get enough to help out guys with other sprayers as well.

The folks at MacKissic seem to be very helpful and a preasure to talk to.

I'll see what I can do on the weekend, since I never see home in the daylight this time of year through the week

The Amerind-MacKissic Sprayer attachments for the Bolens tractors were known as model B-TS.

The sprayers, which were available for the tube-frames and large-frames, came with the hand spray gun and 25' hose.
....A 4-nozzle boom was an optional accessory.

For 1971, the large-frame model listed for $248, while the tube-frame model had a list price of $229.

Both models used a Hypro 2-cylinder pump. ...The tank was 22 gallon capacity.

Sorry it took so long to get the OldBuzzard. Not sure this is the tag you are after but its all I have. I thought there was more but I guess not. I love having this sprayer though. I made a bracket on the back that I clamp the wand to and change the tip to a fan spray and it works great. It will spray about 15 feet wide.

Trent, could you tell me what Bolens this fits? I have one like this, but, mine also has a boom on the back. I don't have a Bolens, but I like the sprayer. I could modify it to fit something else, but can't see destroying the originality.  Is there any model numbers on your pump? Thanks

Mark
